Ironic

Ironic

click of key

connects with

confidante

confessor

cyberspace time

no problem

we’ll never meet yet

I know you

words unuttered

speak volumes

Ironic

man I shared life

I never knew

masked wouldn’t let

me in believed own

lie cave blocked any

glimmer peeping tom

ironic

farce of wedded bliss

ran 18 years till final

curtain abruptly

fell ignored screaming

grafitti on wall idiot yes

your best

years flushed down

loo harsh words soul

battered sparkle awol

identity

missing in action

family not yet contacted

located one dusty door

mat lost voice

ironic

cage door

ajar wounded little

bird huddled open

space scary captivity

safe

ironic

jailer

bored left

wings clipped

fragile

hope

extinguished

heavy head lifts split

second same sight  through

bars
