Poem a day challenge #4 GSOH

in hospital bed

minus left boob

Chelsea voice floats

across damp air

Look good feel better

Laughed out loud

yeah sure why not

just lost body part

could do with some

help from my friends

Consultant surgeon

grinning Cheshire Cat

calling all nurses

behold Exhibit A

how exquisite

perfect shape

size matching

grieving twin

Minions purred

Are you pleased

with it

Oscar winning

smile fixed

Only a man

could ask that

Body now

donated to

of science

without my consent

it’s not the implant

Mrs B

Not funny any more

can’t laugh at absurdity

of life lottery

it could be you

and it is
