Attached to me foot

Rather fond of me left foot

would be that side ain’t it

left boob already awol

missing in action gone

to that locker in the sky

maybe if i m really good

me and my boob be

reunited like friends

think i can google up

there you know in heaven

cos that’s where i’m headed

take in stray dogs feed em

control freak past life

feed kept house child care

all with a smile well most

the time when not depressed

doing battle with cancer cells

me left foot and i r good mates

never a cross word he’s me

soul mate to tell you the truth

the right foot is jealous cos

leftie is my favourite i know

i shouldn’t but i can’t help it

we have this special relationship

but this time he let me down

broken ankle chipped bone

must be true cos the doc

told me so and x ray confirmed

technology i salute you good news

no surgery required just a heavy

cumbersome plaster cast and here’s

pair of crutches but b4 u get confident

bum up and down the 3 flights

what no painkillers at home ok

here’s a prescription hop along to the

pharmacy only 5 minutes u r kidding right

oh u wanna porter push you in wheelchair

i’ll see what i can do left me in front of double

doors great the other ankle less favoured gonna

fractured too won’t feel left out all this

attention not healthy for the left

thankfully vigilant receptionist pushed me outta

way this must happen all the time bless her saving

nhs millions in compensation sorry i was run off me

feet forgot left her in front of doors your honour nah

be a doctor in high places pointing at balance sheets

well good looking young lovely lovely doc knee man but

can do feet if you are desperate told me no worries

full recovery predicted only small fracture not visible

to unpractised eye we doctors have special vision magic

powers no doc i think it’s the 7 years medical training and

all long hrs in the hospital as a junior that’s done it but who

am i to argue bk in month x ray see if healed all ok fly fly little

bird soar in fact can fly thurs if u wanna get it checked out there

no thanks i love the nhs it saved me life not once twice but thrice

best thing in this country better than sliced bread sex

me left ankle and i are mates again kiss and make up

don’t let the sun set on your anger he apologised for not

watching where he is going i met him half way and smiled

it’s easily done don’t worry about it together we’ll get through

it the kiddiess waiting for me to make them linguists UN

interpreters have time all their lives in front of them

plan to make them geniuses can still go ahead just

slight delay that’s life plans are for fools

rather attached to me left foot

mummy still loves ya unconditional
